Leanora Eubanks (she, her), AYS | E-RYT 500, is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher and Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist known for her grounding presence, soothing voice and keen ability to tune into her student’s needs. She creates an accessible yoga experience that explores her core message, “Love all that you are”. This Baltimore native graduated in Philadelphia with an Eastern University BA in Urban Studies before embarking on her ten year journey as a wilderness Outward Bound Instructor. During this intense time she experienced the therapeutic combination of yoga breathing, movement and meditation in the outdoors and later earned her 200hr. Therapeutic-style yoga teacher certification with Diane Finlayson; 300hr. Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist (AYS) with Maria Garre and an Occupational Therapy Assistant degree.

With over a decade of experience in therapeutic yoga teaching she spends most of her time with patients at The Retreat at Sheppard Pratt sharing yoga & mindfulness as an effective coping skill and distress tolerance tool for managing mood and recovering from substance abuse and trauma.  It brought her great joy to offer creative yoga sessions to young adults on the autism spectrum through the Itineris Foundation.  She currently teaches Yoga for People with Parkinson's classes through  the Retreat Center of Maryland and Parkinson’s Foundation. Her approach integrates eastern (Yoga & Ayurveda) and western (Occupational Therapy & Experiential Education) perspectives with specialization in adapting yoga movement, breathing and meditation techniques to each individual's ability.
