Karen Burd, LCSW-C
Karen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in family and couples therapy. Karen has particular expertise in helping couples and families with mental health issues, addiction and trauma. She also has specialized training in helping couples through infertility struggles on the journey to parenthood.
She has worked in various settings at Sheppard Pratt and Johns Hopkins, most recently at the Retreat at Sheppard Pratt.
Karen has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Women's Studies from Drew University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. She is in private practice in the Mt. Washington neighborhood of Baltimore City and has been licensed to practice in the state of Maryland since 2003.
