Charlotte Boston, LCPAT, is a registered, licensed and board-certified art therapist with a broad range of professional experience of practical and leadership experience providing clinical art psychotherapy treatment services, developing and delivering art psychotherapy for individuals and groups ranging from psychiatric inpatients to intensive outpatients, ensuring continuity of care, structure, and safety.

She has provided services for complex psychiatric diagnoses, and was adjunct professor at George Washington University where she taught and provided training, supervision, and mentorship to graduate art therapy students in practicum internships.

Charlotte is skilled at developing and delivering art therapy that supports and empowers self-soothing coping skills based on best practices – allowing individuals and groups to gain a measure of control over their own mental health and overall quality of life; She is experienced in facilitating stress reduction workshops.

She is the author of numerous presentations and publications on health and wellness benefits of art therapy – with 8 publications in medical / association journals in the US and the UK; and nearly 25 presentations at American Art Therapy Association National Conferences; multiple Mid-Atlantic, Midwestern, and South-Central US regional Art Therapy Associations; colleges and universities; and churches.

She served as President of the Art Therapy Credentials Board. In addition to teaching, and clinical supervision, Charlotte sees individuals for art therapy consultations, art psychotherapy, and life coaching.
