Who might benefit from a consultation?

The MindWork Group consultation services support individuals facing complex psychiatric challenges. We specialize in providing expert insights for those seeking diagnostic clarity or comprehensive assessment.

What you’ll get with an Expert Psychiatric Consultation:

Primary treatment teams and patients often seek a consultation to review the current plan of care, assess current diagnoses or pursue a more comprehensive second opinion about their treatment. This service includes: 

    • A deep exploration of psychiatric needs through medical records review 

    • 75-90 minute meeting with one of our highly experienced psychiatrists

    • 30 minute discussion with a supportive family member

    • Summary of findings and recommendation 

    • We will continue to be available as a liaison to the primary treatment team as our recommendations are considered and implemented after the consultation

    • For individuals who have completed an initial consultation, we remain available for follow up consultations at an hourly rate.

*Note that the consultation fee can be applied towards the cost of your Intensive Outpatient Treatment program at MindWork Group.

What you’ll get with a Comprehensive Multidisciplinary Consultation:

This service provides an intensive 10-day, multidisciplinary evaluation providing comprehensive individual assessments from various mental health specialists, including an average of 12 hours with our psychiatrists. The process concludes with a detailed treatment conference and written summary of findings and recommendations, ensuring comprehensive support for complex psychiatric needs.

    • Psychiatric evaluations with 2 psychiatrists on our team

    • Psychopharmacology consultation

    • Daily meetings with primary psychiatrist

    • Art therapy evaluation

    • Occupational therapy evaluation

    • Psychological testing

    • Internal medicine visit and indicated labs

    • Family therapy evaluation

    • Genetic testing

    • Substance use consultation

    • Written summary of findings from the entire multidisciplinary team

    • Treatment conference and family meeting

    • 30+ hours spent with doctors and experienced staff

*Note that the Comprehensive Multidisciplinary Consultation fee can be applied towards the cost of your Intensive Outpatient Treatment program at MindWork Group.

What you’ll get with an Evaluation for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) services:

This service provides a thoughtful discussion about the role of TMS in your outpatient treatment. This meeting always precedes any recommendations for or start of TMS treatment and is included in the cost of the acute course of TMS.
